Thiago Motta courts English clubs for pressure on contract adjustment by FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona player, Thiago Motta has asked Barca to phase out the remaining one year left in his contract at Camp Nou, a move that will make the Italian -Brazilian a free agent and make easier, his dream move to the English Premiership. Thiago is one of the players who will be leaving FC Barcelona this summer, and Motta wants to play in England. With a transfer fee pegged on him, the move to the Premiership may be delayed or even denied. Thiago says:

If I am a free agent it will be easy to find a new club, as fees and other formalities can be avoided. England holds an attraction to me. The Premier League is sensational and has a style that's perfectly suited to the way I play. I am not new to English teams either. I've played many games against English opposition and believe I can enjoy football in England. The most vital thing now is to sort out my Barca situation.

Thiago has been linked with Premiership clubs like West Ham, Manchester City and Middlesbrough, who all want to sign the Barcelona man maker to enhance their Premiership prospects next season. Negotiations between Thiago and Barca club officials are still on.
