Gabri will stay with Barça to the end of the season. The deal settling his departure was already negotiated and it appeared that Gabri was on his way to West Ham, in England, but surprisingly the loyal player changed his mind just hours before the transfer deadline. Gabri, who developed through the Catalan´s own youth ranks does not want to leave Barça now and promised coach Frank Rijkaard to seek his chance with the "Azulgrana" to fight for a regular place. Barca are hot favorites to win the Championship and are showing tremendous promise in both the Champions League and Copa del Rey.
Therefore we need players like Gabri who are fully committed to the Club.
