Has Thierry Henry already decided to join FC Barcelona next season?


Somebody, who has got excellent inside information told me that Thierry

Henry is going to language classes in London to learn Catalan. Believe it or not but his teacher is Ex-Barca player... Cesc Fabregas!
Does it mean that the French international has already set his mind on

Barça? The answer could be a resolute 'yes'! He is learning Catalan... and not Spanish.
With all respect to this beautiful language but you learn Catalan only when you are going to live in or near Barcelona and I do not believe Thierry Henry is thinking about joining RCD Espanyol!

This well informed person also told me in all seriousness that Henry asked Cesc to recommended to him the best and most suitable areas to live.


We are not counting our chickens yet, because the last offer that Arsenal made to Henry seems to be very tempting. If Hill Wood is talking about big money, he is right. They are talking about a staggering €9 mill. net, after tax! The 5 year contract equals a stunning 45 million!!! This is serious money and difficult to match, even when the new 'Betandwin' deal will turn Barça into one of the richest Clubs in the world.


But Henry claims his final decision has nothing to do with money, it
will be a professional and also a personal question. It may well be that at the end of the day his family will have the final say. It seems that his wife is leaning towards staying in London but his father and brother want him to go to Barcelona.
