Barcelona Football Club challenges another new record in the Mestalla next Sunday:
No team has ever managed seven straight away wins in the same season in La Liga.
Barca has won the last six away matches and is determined to set a new record. The Barça team began their run in Getafe, followed by the great victory at Bernabeu against Real Madrid, then Villarreal, Cádiz, Espanyol and finally Mallorca.
Barça has won the last six away games with relative ease and only on one occasion (against Espanyol at the Olympic Stadium, Montjuic) was the winning margin just a singel goal (1-2).
This Sunday, FC Barcelona is up against second placed Valencia. Barça has not lost in Mestalla since the 2001/02 season (final result 2-0). Last year the "Blaugrana" won 2-0 (goals from Ronaldinho and Eto'o) on match day 35.
