Rumours are flying around at the Camp Nou about who is joining the Barça squad. It is reported that FC Barcelona have Anton Ferdinand on their shopping list. Club scouts have been spotted at several West Ham matches this season as the Catalan giants are keen to sign a young defensive partner for Carles Puyol.
The Spanish champions are reported to have three targets who they will begin to observe more closely at in April. Anton Ferdinand, younger brother of Rio Ferdinand (Manchester Untied) is believed to be at the top of the list after scouts watched several recent Hammers matches, while Udinese's Felipe and an unnamed player are also being monitored.

The Barça board are ready for some major signing in the summer, with Thierry Henry from Arsenal being the most sensational name to reinforce other areas of their squad.
Ferdinand signed a new deal last month to keep him at Upton Park until 2010 but is valued at an estimated €8 million (£5.5 million). The Hammers' interest in Gabri may also be considered with the utility player possibly a consideration in any bid.

Barça are keen to sign a rising star and are also watching 21-year-old Felipe at Udinese Calcio as a possibility. While Rafael Marquez can play in the middle of the back four and also in central, defensive midfield, Frank Rijkaard is keen to employ a young left-sided centre back.
