FC Barcelona captain Puyol is ready for "El Clásico". After missing out the last two matches due to yellow card suspensions, the Barca defender can´t wait to get into action again. Carles Puyol believes that victory against Real Madrid at Camp Nou this weekend would bring Barça very close to retaining the Primera Liga title.
Looking forward to the big match with Real Madrid, Puyol admits that he is confident about beating Real again: "I have a good feeling. I cannot wait for the game to start and to play. To beat Real Madrid is important. The three points on offer would give us a big advantage with the number of games left and would mean that the race for the title is almost over." Barca star Puyol knows about the importance of the game and what the Barca supporters expect: "Barcelona against Madrid is always special and I always want to play in it. But I am only thinking about winning our matches and winning the league. In these games, league position means nothing. The important thing is to stop Real Madrid from playing and we have to try to score early on with the chances we create."

Puyol still believes that Real´s brazilian striker Ronaldo is the man to watch: "We have to watch him as he does not normally let you off if he is given an opportunity. For me he is still one of the best players in the world."

Barca defenders Rafael Márquez and Edmílson are still out due to injury. Therefore Thiago Motta will play in central defence together with Puyol. is set to retain his place in the centre of defence alongside Puyol.
