Real Madrid´s current coach López Caro believes that the big match on Saturday will be a difficult one for both teams but admits that FC Barcelona is in the driving seat: "FC Barcelona plays excellent football on a very high level and is in good form".
In his opinion, the match in Camp Nou in Saturday, will show some of the best teams in Europe and a victory against FC Barcelona would be a great step forward to secure the 2nd place that qualifies direct for the Champions League next season.

So, did Real Madrid already give up? It seems that the margin of 11 points is too much to catch up in the last matches of the season. Manager Caro is not very confident: "Even if we cut the adantage from 11 to 8 points it will be difficult to overtake Barcelona. But we will try."


Real coach Caro added further: "To win at Camp Nou we can not play with 11 attackers. The balance of the team is fundamental. We have to play at a very high level as we did against Deportivo La Coruna, then it will be difficult for Barca. We have to work hard. I have seen my team working hard and concentrating. Without this, you can´t win.


López Caro remembers the first match at Bernabeu this season very well. This was the fantastic match Barca played and Ronaldinho´s stunning performance and bautiful goals were even honoured and applauded by the Real Madrid supporters in the stadium Santiago Bernabeu: "Barcelona played a spectacular football. The first goal was a lack of concentration and we invited FC Barcelona to score. Then they took over and dominated the entire game." Real Madrid´s coach hopes that his Real team will not make the same mistakes and concentrate from the first minute to secur a result at Camp Nou.
