La Primera Liga match FC Barcelona v Villareal on Good Fridaysven 07th April 2006 As fcbarcelonablog has published some hours ago, the match in the Spanish Championship La Liga between FC Barcelona and Villareal at Camp Nou will be played on Good Friday. After both Clubs requested the game of Match day 33 to be played on Friday to have one more day for the recovery before playing the semi finals against Milan and Arsenal, the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) re-scheduled the match for 14th of April. The Federation was not fond of the re-schule of the match but the pressure of the spanish TV let the RFEF reconsider. The kick off will be at 20:30 as fcbarcelona blog has advanced. It is hard to believe that the RFEF does not respond to the wish of both teams wanting 1 more day to recover before the so important semi finals of the Champions League. The Champions League matches are of national interest and both Clubs are representing Spain in the most important competition of European Club football.
