Barca superstar Ronaldinho is optimistic ahead of todays's big match against Milan at Camp Nou.


Ronaldinho talked at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday evening at the Nou Camp about Barca's chances of reaching the Paris final and the team's long term future:

"We have prepared the game carefully - we know this is a great chance to write a new chapter in the club's history and we don't want to waste it. That's why we are determined to get to the final. Winning the Champions would be a great start to building a historic team ".

Although the 0-1 win in Milan is a huge advantage and makes Barca the favourites to proceed, Barca´s magical attacker Ronaldinho prefers to forget that result:

"We made a good start with our performance in Milan, but now we have to use our heads and put that behind us. We'll be going out to play our usual game - we play to win. We know this one will be a tense game and probably end up tougher than the San Siro match, they need to score and they are packed with quality players to do just that".

Ronnie is ready and up for it tonight. A clearly motivated, but relaxed Ronaldinho went on to assure reporters he was fully recovered from Friday's injury and explained:

"I'm ready and able to do everything I can to help my teammates make sure we get through to Paris. I know this will be a tough game and of course I'm taking it seriously, but for me the best part of the day - when I'm at my happiest, is when I walk out to play. I always try and look on the positive side".

The Barca superstar is not really bothered about the big name stars in Ancelotti´s Milan squad and Ronaldinho again made it clear that Barca will not be very impressed and has it´s own way of dealing with it:

"We'll play in the same style we always do, we'll not change it. It really doesn't matter who plays for them - they are all quality players."
