Cadiz coach Victor Esparrago climed that his relegation threatened team Cadiz fought a strong battle in the match against Barcelona and had hoped they could have surprised a tired Barca team after the important Champions League match against Milan. Despite a good performance of his team he believed that the lack of luck denied them from scoring and get away with a positive result:

We played against the best team in Europe and the only thing we didn't have was a little bit of composure in the right moments. We knew they might suffer from the game last Wednesday in the Champions League and for that reason we tried to squeeze the game, but we couldn't get the goal.

Cadiz remains just one place off the bottom of the table and two points from Primera Liga survival.
