El gran repte
FC Barcelona, the biggest football Club in the world is looking out for its 140,000th member. There have been 34,000 new members since President Joan Laporta took over the top seat in the board room.

The arrival of charismatic superstar Ronaldinho and the success in the last two years have assisted to reach this record amount of 140,000 members.
The number of memberships doubled since 1974, the year Barca, with superstar Johann Cruyff, won the Spanish Championship.

This season the members consist of 68% from Catalunya, 20% from the other regions in Spain and an amazing amount of 12% foreigners.
