With FC Barcelona´s second successive title under Dutch coach Frank Rijkaard, Barca have confirmed their dominance of the Spanish League Championship over the last two decades. Barca won 8 out of the last 16 La Liga titles (Real Madrid 4, Valencia 2, Atletico 1 and Deportivo 1).


Barca are also the only team during this period to manage back to back championships. In this period they retained the Spanish League titles three times: first with the famous "Dream Team" of Johann Cruyff (90-94), then under manager Van Gaal with Figo, Rivaldo, Luis Enrique and Guardiola (98 and 99) and now with Rijkaard's spectacular young team (05 adn 06).


Barca won all 8 Spanish championship titles with a Dutch coach.
