On Saturday FC Barcelona striker Henrik "Henke" Larsson will play his last minutes of football for FC Barcelona at Camp Nou against city-rival Espanyol. The 33 year old Ex-Celtic legend joined Barcelona 2 years ago from Celtic Park and the swedish international has been since one of the favourites of the Barca supporters. Nobody wants to see him leaving now but striker Larsson has made a definitive decision to say goodbye and to join his home town Club in Helsingborg.

Henrik Larsson is well known for his honesty, professionality and his great ability to score goals. In the first year when he joined Barca from Celtic Glasgow, he broke his knee ligaments and already nearly 33 years old, a lot of people believed this would be the end of a great career. But Larsson fought hard for his come back and he was the first back in the team out of 4 Barca players with similar ligament injury around the same time.
In Helsingborg, Henke scored 50 goles in 56 matches and with 21 he was signed by dutch Club Feyenoord Rotterdam. He played for Feyenoord 4 years and won two Dutch Cups. In 101 matches he scored 26 goals before he signed for Scottish giant Celtic Glasgow were he became a real legend. He scored 242 goals in 315 matches. In 2001 he conquered the "Golden Boot" Award for the highest scoring player in Europe with a stunning 35 goals in the Championship and 53 goals in total for the entire season. In 2004 he joined Barca from Celtic. Due to the injury he played only 17 matches and scored 4 goals but his season 2005/2006 he played 34 matches and scored 11 goals while he replaced Barca´s leading goalscorer Samuel Etoo who participated in the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Henrik "Henke" Larsson will play his last match at Camp Nou tomorrow and similar to the great recognition of the Celtic fans in Celtic Park, he will receive a great goodbye and standing ovations from the Barca faithfuls when he will leave the Camp Nou pitch.

Nobody could have explained it better than Barca´s talismanic idol Ronaldinho:
When he leaves us, the team will loose a great goal scorer but also a great friend. Henrik was my idol and playing together with him was fantastic.
