FC Barcelona´s dutch coach Frank Rijkaard, usually calm and cool, was one of the protagonists of the celebrations after the derby with Espanyol. The Barca coach was the first to take the microphone and was followed by captain Carles Puyol, then striker Larsson and catalan Gabri, both expressing their farewell to the Nou Camp crowd.
Unlike last year, when every member of the squad had spoken to the supprters in Camp Nou. But Barca´s Brazilian midfielder Edmilson had a good explanation. The Barca team had decided that only skipper Puyol should talk to the fans and than leave Henrik Larsson and Gabri at the center of the stage.

A huge roar and standing ovations accompanied dutch boss Rijkaard when he went to the microphone and spoke to the celebrating supporters in fluent catalan:
Here we are, celebrating yet another title. It is another dream which has become a reality. Now we must play in Paris. Your support has been fundamental. Many congratulations to the club and the players. But Paris is waiting for us!.

Barca captain Carles Puyol was next and promised all the Barca fans:
To continue to work and fight, in order to create history and give joy. Visca el Barça i Visca Catalunya.

Henrik Larsson was visibly touched by the standing ovations and the applaude he received, when he stood up:
I leave with great satisfaction and contentment, because it has been a pleasure to play with this team, and work with these coaches and these suppoters. Visca el Barça i Visca Catalunya.

Gabri, a catalan who has been with FC Barcelona since childhood and went through all the ranks to the first team was very emotional:
It is a very very special day. Wherever I go, I will always take Barcelona in my heart.
