After Barca's 2-1 victory in the Champions League final against Arsenal, Barcelona president Joan Laporta was very excited about the achivements in the last years and of course, about winning the European trophy for the second time in Barca´s history:
"The day we arrived at the Club we realised that basic changes were needed and we've been working on that so far. But we never thought that this success would arrive in so few years. We need to keep on working to maintain this level and win the league and the Champions League again".

Laporta admitted suffering a great deal while Barca was 1-0 behind but revealed: "When you have to work hard to achieve something, you value it even more".

Further he dedicated the Champions League title "to all the Barca members and fans, both those who made the trip to Paris and those who stayed at home."

About the King of Spain, Juan Carlos & Spanish president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero

"Their Majesties and the president watched the whole match with great attention and I would like to thank them especially for being with us at this historic moment. They suffered just like any other Barca fan."

Barca president Laporta finally called on all Barca fans to celebrate the title on Thursday and to make sure it would be "a festival of good behaviour and sportsmanship".

Do you never get enough? You remind me of a boxer who gets hit all the time but gets always up again and asking for more.

Did you not get it? TH will make his announcement soon and then you will know.

You Gooners have been so arrogant in your comments and you got the answer yesterday. Why are you not keeping a lower profile and not just jump to the next subject. If you would have read this blog carefully, you would know all about it.

Instead of making stupid comments, you should read the blog. If you have trouble to understand, you can ask me a sensible question and I will explain it to you. if necessary, I will do it slowly for you!
