The City of Barcelona was in the highest of spirits last night. With Samuel Eto´o's equalizer the first fireworks started and when Beletti scored the winning goal, there was no holding back.

The second the whistle blew for full time in the Champions League final and Arsenal were beaten, the celebrations started in earnest. The focal point of the massive celebration weas, as usual, the traditional fountains at The Ramblas, Les Canaletes - Spain's most popular street.

The whole City celebrated in a spontaneous "Fiesta" that lasted throughout the night. Queues of pligrims made there way mostly by foot to the heart of the City to pay tribute to the Champions of Europe. Official estimates talk of more than 125,000 Barca supporters at Les Calanetes, alone.

Only minor incidents were reported by the police. About 300 police officers were on duty to keep the celebrations under control.
