After this weekend FC Barcelona´s Director of Football Txiki Begiristain and coach Frank Rijkaard will hold talks and work out where the squad needs strengthening over the summer period. Barca still have not finished theri season and have their final La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao in San Mamés tonight. While the Spanish season is over, for Barça's technical secretary Txiki the most important work begins now.

Priority is finding a replacement for Henrik Larsson, who is leaving Barca to join Helsingborg in Sweden. Txiki Begiristain believes it will be hard to find a similar player, who will be able to replace the former Celtic idol after scoring 19 goals for FC Barcelona.

Barcelona´s Beguiristain stated:

When Rijkaard and I are more relaxed, we will sit down and begin planning next season. The loss of Larsson is important because he is a forward that sits back and plays well there. But we will find a replacement.
