FC Barcelona captain and Champions League winner Carles Puyol and Arsenal´s youngster Cesc Fàbregas, who was raised in the Barca youth departement, both renewed their current contract with US sport equipment producer Nike until 30th of June 2012. Both catalan football players, Puyol and Fabregas celebrated the contract renewal with Nike, who also sponsors the Barca and Arsenal team. Puyol and Cesc joined the Spanish national team yesterday to prepare for the World Cup in Germany.
