FC Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard does not believe that it is necessary to reinforce the defence with a new player. Barca Boss Rijkaard admitted that he would only be interested to integrate a new signing, if somebody arrives that can add value to the squad and contribute more to the team than the current Barca players in the team. Dutchman Rijkaard hints to the fact, that Barca is the team that received the least goals in La Liga for the last 2 years: "For two years Barça is the team that conceived the least goals in La Liga and this is a good signal. We are playing very well and therefore we have to think twice what we do. A player that will join the team has to contribute more because we are already the team conceiving the least goals".

Frank Rijkaard confirmed that the replacement of Henrik Larsson is the only priority at the moment. He feels very confident with the current squad that has won the Spanish Super Cup, the Spanish Championship (back-to-back) and the Champions League and believes that the current squad is not only cabable of defending these trophy but win more silverware the coming season. He is not keen on too many changes within this successful and fantastic performing team.
