Barca´s Director of Football: Deco stays - Lampard of Chelsea isn't coming!

FC Barcelona Blog did not pick up the story about an exchange deal involving Deco/Lampard between Barca and Chelsea.

We felt that Barca doesn't need another midfielder because they are very well set up in this department. It is hard to believe that Barca would consider getting rid of star midfielder Deco.

WON'T HAPPEN

The story was made up by a British tabloid and as usual has been picked up by other news providers. But Txiki clarified the situation on Barca TV:

"The Deco case does not exist. He has not said anything about wanting to leave because he is happy here. And neither has Lampard asked to come here.
We are all happy with his performances. In fact, he is a player you associate with winning. At Porto, he was the leader of a team that won everything and now he has come here and won two leagues and Champions League. We are delighted with him and convinced that he is very happy too. So there is no chance of him leaving".
