Ricardo Oliveira: Contacts with FC Barcelona

Real Betis striker Ricardo Oliveira, currently on loan to FC Sao Paulo in Brazil admits having contact with FC Barcelona. Ronaldinho´s brother Roberto de Assis Moreira has presented the Brazilian striker Oliveira as a possible replacement for Henrik Larsson to the Barca board. FC Barcelona Blog already reported that Ricardo Oliveira is one among other options Barcelona´s technical staff is persuing at the moment.

Oliveira admitted that it would be impossible to turn down an offer from FC Barcelona, if the Club makes a move for him, even it could mean to start from the bench. Oliveira told Barcelona based football newspaper SPORT: "Obviously, when a club such as Barça comes calling, it is impossible to say no. Barcelona did enquire, and there have been some contacts. Should the move take shape, I would be really very happy. I have very good relations with all the Brazilians at the Nou Camp. At the moement, however, we must be calm and patient".
