FC Barcelona and Netherlands international midfielder Mark Van Bommel has been injured in training yesterday. The training session in preparation for the "Group of death" match against Sebia & Montenegro was held behind closed doors but pictures and film material clearly showed that Mark Van Bommel was unable to complete the training session and retire earlier than the rest of the team due to a knee injury. Bonds coach Marco Van Basten or any other member of Hollands delegation have been available for comments on this issue.
At present it is not clear, if Mark Van Bommel will be able to start the match between Holland and Serbia Montenegro today.
