New seats for Camp Nou

As the 2005-06 season is over, essential maintenance work is being carried out on the Camp Nou stadium.

The seats in the main stand were replaced in the summer of 2004. This year, we will see the renewal of the seats behind the goals.

The work has already started to replace 8,717 seats on the second tier of Europe´s biggest football stadium. Later, and throughout the season, the seats on the first and third tier will be renewed, so that ultimately, a total of 30,554 new seats will be installed behind the goals of the Camp Nou.
There will be a few changes. First of all, when the maintenance work is completed, it will show, in yellow, the club motto, "Més que un Club" (more than a club), similar to the "FC Barcelona" on the main stand. The chairs on the second tier will be in blue, replacing the old red seats and the seats of the first and third level, now blue, will also change colour to red.
