Barca´s youth team have won the Copa del Rey for the second time in a row. Barca´s youth players Sergio Busquets and Jaime Hernández scored the two goals in a 2-0 win over Real Zaragoza. Winning the Cup rounds up a very succesful season for Barca´s youth team and coach Àlex Garcia who have also won the league title.
Barca had a good start into the game by controlling the game. Barca kept possesion and created the first goal scoring opportunities in the match. In the 24th minute, it was young Mexican winger Giovanni de Santos who headed Jeffren's cross wide. Two minutes later, Bojan Krkic came even closer to score but it was Sergio Busquets who put Barca into a well deserved lead in the 37th minute. seized on a clearance within the goal area to make it 1-0.
Real Zaragoza put in some ugly tacles which infuriated Barca coach Àlex Garcia. After a nasty foul on 15-year old centre forward Bojan Krkic, Garcia heavily protested and was subsequently send off by the referee.
Barca had two further clear cut chances to score in the second half but first Sergio Busquets and then Xavi Marques failed to convert crosses from Marc Crosas.
The second goal for Barca that finally seald the 2-0 victory was scored by left back Jaime Hernández in the 73rd minute.
