Espanyol after Barca´s on loan player Damia

Espanyol Barcelona has made inquiries about the services of right full back Damià Abella. Damià has still one year left on his 2-year loan agreement with Racing Santander but Espanyol seemed to be very intersted in a transfer of the yound talented Barca player.

Damià already had the approval of the technical department and he himself was keen to join Espanyol. Negotiations over the player have started but Espanyol are not willing to pay the price of € 1 mill.

Espanyol was keen on adding the versatile player to their squad. Damià is fast and can play as right full back or right midfielder and even as right winger. It seems that the price tag for the young Barca player is too high for Espanyol and that they will have to look somewhere else to reinforce their sqad on this position.
