FC Barcelona young supertalent Bojan Krkic will stay with Barca despite having many offers already on the table. Bojan will not go the same route as Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Fran Merida (Arsenal) or Gerard Piqué (Manchester United) who all followed the big money offers of the Premiership.

Bojan Krkic, who will be 16 in August joined FC Barcelona in the age of 9. He has scored a total of 889 goals in just 7 years in a Barca shirt, an average of 3.5 goals per match. Bojan was promoted during the 2005/6 season from Barca´s U16 to the U19 and finally won the double, Championship and Cup.

This year, he will play with Barcelona's U19 team and will also gain senior team experience in Barca B.

The career of the young forward seems to be unstoppable and the fast pace of his development could make Bojan´s biggest dream a reality: Scoring for Barca in Camp Nou.
We would be happy to see this fast forward with outstanding technical skills scoring soon. May be not this season but definetely soon.

Has Fran Merida definitely joined Arsenal? I haven't seen anything to confirm it.

Are you sure, Rocky Dixon. Last we heard, from an Arsenal insider, was that "things are at a very delicate stage". I took that to be something like a legal challenge from Barca or compensation negotiations. Can you confirm that has now been resolved? If so, what are you sources? Many thanks.

889 is correct. With 89 goals he would hardly have an average of 3.5 goals per match. But this includes also all official friendly matches in a Barca shirt.
Pele scored over 1,000 goals in his professional career. This is something different. Bojan is not a professional, he is still a youth player.

Can't speak to the others, but Cesc's move was dictated by prospects of playing time. Honestly, would he have become first choice in the Spanish national team if couldn't get a match behind Xavi and Iniesta at Barca?

You can not blame Arsenal for "buying" the young talents from Barca. Why do you thing Cesc and if it is true Fran Merida have joined Arsenal? They knew that they will get the opportunity to play with the first team. You have to give your young players a good outlook. That is what they get at Arsenal. So blame your coach not Arsenal!

Problem is that at kiddie level there is little competition for clubs like Barca probably he scored all those goals in 20 - 0 games
