The Spanish and European champions FC Barcelona returned to pre-season training yesterday. After the first day of training, FC Barcelona and Brazil midfielder Edmilson reported back fully fit for the new season and the Brazil star revealed that he felt no pain in his knee after his operation in the summer.
José Edmilson missed the World Cup in Germany, after suffering from a cartilage injury in his right knee while preparing with the Brazilian national team for the World Cup in Switzerland 48 days ago.

Edmilson revealed after the training session: "I felt very good and did not notice any pain."

Edmilson had worked hard for his recovery. After his return to native Sao Paulo, where he underwent surgery, he spent 1 week of total rest in Northern Natal and then had 5 weeks of intensive physiotherapy.
