Sylvinho does not believe that the elections for the new board at FC Barcelona will affect the players or the pre-season preparation. Joan Laporta announced that he and all board memebers will step down to pave the way for new elections. Sylvinho believes that the team is strong and stable enough and will only concentrate on football:
We are on the edge of all that. I am sure it will not affect the players. We have a very difficult job to do, it will be a very long season and there is not room for this type of thing. We are focussed on playing and will be only concentrating on football.
