FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol will play the final of the Catalonia Cup of the season 2005/06 on 5th of September. The match will be played at 10:00pm in Montilivi (Girona).
Barça eliminated newly promoted Primera Liga team Nàstic de Tarragona in the semifinals 6-0 last November. Due to problems fitting the final into the busy Barca schedule, the match has to be played in September. All international players will probably be on duty for their countries and therefore not available for selection, a compromise made by Barca to give the go-a-head for the match.
