FC Barcelona has taken 8 young reserve team players to Denmark to have a close look at their developments and abilities. Today, some of them will get a chance in a friendly against local team AGF Aarhus. the game will be shown live on Barça TV (20.00).

Barca´s youngest player, 17 year old Brazilian/Mexican Giovanni Dos Santos, is one of the players attracting the most attention of the crowd. Only a few months ago he was still playing for Barca´s U18 team and entertaing the crowd in the Mini-Estadi with his attractive style of play. Txiki doesn't want to hear of any comparisons with Messi and is very calm over the development of this outstanding youngster:

For the moment he is just one more player and we'll see later if Frank wants him to go to America. He has the same chance as anybody and we should not make comparisons. Messi is Messi, and is in the first team and has played at a World Cup. Giovanni Dos Santos is a good player, but let's not get overexcited.

Also team mate Giuly who trained with youngster Giovanni is full of praise for the talent:

I have seen him these days, he is very fast, has a lot quality, we have to wait and see. He is very young. He is physically a bit tired. Tomorrow we will see if he is up to it, I think it would be nice if he can play.
