Joan Verdú will follow former Barca youngster Rodri to Deportivo.
Verdú signed a three year contract, as FC Barcelona Blog speculated yesterday.
Barca's conditions included a buy-back option for the 23-year-old midfielder and a clause that gives Barca 30% of any transfer fee if the player is transferred away from Deportivo.
Joan Verdú joined Barca on 11th July 1998 from the Penya Barcelonista Anguera as a 15-year-old and in the 2002-3 season he became a Barca B player, making his full first team debut in December 2005 in a Champions League game against Ucrainian team Shakthar Donetsk. Joan Verdú was part of the pre-season first team and went with Barca into the training camp in Aarhus, Denmark last month.
