Former president and current presidential candidate Joan Laporta, who is in the middle of his re-election campaign praised Barca´s perforfamce by trashing city-rival Espanyol 3-0 in a one sided match but slammed Espanyol´s bad loser attitude:
It was a marvellous match. This team is causing everybody to fall in love with their football and I’m convinced that we can go on to make history. I find the whole attitude totally out of place and I just hope that those responsible for making any final decision aren’t swayed by any sour grape declarations.
