Barca magician Ronaldinho was quoted in the British tabloid daily Express that Chelsea would be easy to beat because their new signings have not settled in yet. Believe it or not, we guess that former Barca translator under Bobby Robson, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, will have his say to this one. the rattling of the swords has begun, just a month before Barca will meet Chelsea in the Champions League Group stages.
Barcelona star Ronaldinho is more afraid of Werder Bremen at this stage of the season and believes that the German runners up last season could be a stronger opponent than Chelsea in Group A:
They will be easy to beat because their new signings Andrei Shevchenko, Michael Ballack and Ashley Cole won't have settled in. Anybody would think Chelsea are our main rivals, but I hold Werder Bremen in high regard. They will be very strong opposition. However, the amount of hype surrounding Chelsea takes my breath away. It is better for us to play them now rather than later in the season. Ballack, Shevchenko and Cole may well make them stronger. But they will need time to settle and this will be to Chelsea's disadvantage.
