All Barca players agreed that Samuel Eto'o´s early goal was a decisive factor in the 3-0 victory over Osasuna.

FC Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o, who scored two goals and provided one:

The team did well. We needed this win. We can't give any points away at home. Up front we are scoring lots of goals. We almost score one of every two chances. For the third goal, the keeper tried to take an extra touch and I decided to put him under pressure. You have to try it and sometimes you have the confidence to do it.

Italian world champion Gianluca Zambrotta:

We won because we have all run and fought. The ball travelled well, we had good possession and that made everything easier. We could have score more goals but they prevented it. The most important thing was to win and we've done that. Here in Barca there are some great players and it's really easy to play football with this team.

Barca´s young wonderboy Leo Messi:

We made a quick goal and started playing well straight away. After the goal we controlled the game and opened up spaces. I'm pleased with the goal and the win. I'm not setting any goalscoring objectives this season. In the second half they dropped back more and there was less space. We got lots more of the ball.

Spanish international Andrés Iniesta

We had a great start which makes a difference and affects your opponents. At 3-0 it's quite normal to drop off a bit. You don't need to expend as much as energy as if you are drawing.

The important thing was to get the three points. We started the game well, pressuring the opponents and up front Messi, Eto'o and Ronnie were decisive. It's important that the team keep growing with each game. We have 22 players competing for the whole season. We have to put in some serious work now because for many weeks we'll have games on a Wednesday and Sunday. My knee is fine, my physical fitness is good and I'm getting more confident.

We played a great first half. In the second we were in control. We had to keep one eye on up coming games. We always try to play well, to win. We also try and entertain if we can. The goals we've let in against Vigo were everyone's fault not just the defence. We start the Champions League with a must-win game against Levski. After come difficult games against Chelsea and Werder Bremen.
