Both FC Barcelona left-backs Sylvinho (32) and Giovanni van Bronckhorst (31) are out of contract at the end of the season and will be offered new one year deals by Barca, while Juliano Belletti and Albert Jorquera will also be offered improved contracts.
FC Barcelona are keen to sign some younger players, such as Daniel Alves (FC Sevilla) and Eric Abidal (Olympic Lyon), who could follow into the footsteps of the experienced players. Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard does not want to change too much and the Barca Boss believes, that despite their age, both players are still fit enough to play at least another season on the highest level.
FC Barcelona will also offer second goalkeeper Albert Jorquera and right-back Juliano Belletti improved economic terms with their contracts.
