FC Barcelona captain Carles Puyol and Real´s midfielders Guti and David Beckham all emerge as doubtful for Sunday night’s highly anticipated "El Classico", the most important match in the Spanish Primera Liga.
Barca defender Puyol had to be substituted in last nights match against Chelsea in the second-half and was replaced by Oleguer Presas.

Puyol, who picked up a know during the game, hopes that he will be able back in action for Sunday´s clash against the Merengues.


Real Madrid midfielder Guti is doubtful and david Beckham is almost certainly out of the clash. Guti picked up an ankle knock during the 4-1 win over Steaua Bucharest and was unable to train for the second day in a row. While Real Madrid´s medical staff will have still 3 days to treat Guti´s injury, it is highly expected that he will be able to play against FC Barcelona.
Therefore David Beckham's is much more of a doubt. Beckham is suffering from tendonitis in his left knee.
