FC Barcelona forward Eidur Gudjohnsen returned to Stamford Bridge for the first time since the Iceland International left Chelsea for Barca in the summer. After six seasons at Stamford Bridge, "Gudy" received a warm welcome by his former Club Chelsea and the supporters in the stadium. Gudjohnsen even received a standing ovation when substituted by Ludovic Giuly in the 60´s minute.
