As soon as Barca lose a game, people and media are staring to doubt in the abilities of the team. Too quick, the media initiate a "Mini-Crisis" or assumes that decisions taken have been wrong. Even we, the Culés and Barca supporters all over the world, are used that our team wins and are probably spoilt bya the success of the past years. Now, the team lost 2 important matches in a row. This is unexpected and unusual but does it look like a Mega-Crisis?


When we look at the overall situation at FC Barcelona, is the glass half empty or is it half full?
I believe, we should always look at the bright side in live. Always positive instead of negative! For me, the glass is surely half full!

Before the match against Chelsea, Barca won against a very strong Sevilla side and convinced us that we can win it all this year again. Sole leader in a difficult time without top striker Samuel Eto´o!
2 matches later, we are missing our goal scorer, the rotation does not work, players are not good enough or out of form and the coach does not pick the right players or the right tactics at the right time. How can suddenly everything be wrong, while in the past years, it was all right?


I remember, last year at the same time Barca had 6 points less. We all know what Barca achieved at the end of the season: Champions of Spain and Europe!

Today, after 7 match days, Barca has played all 3 of their challengers and will not play them again before next year, while Sevilla, Real and Valencia have to play each other between match day 11-14. Whatever happens, somebody will drop points. So, for me, being top of the table in this situation looks good and not bad!


I would be more worried, when Chelsea and Madrid would have dominated the Barca team. But this was not the case at all. In both matches, FC Barcelona had the possession of the ball and tried to win the match. In both matches, a suprise goal just after the start (Drogba´s goal right after break) were in favour of the defending tactics of strong opponents, trying to counter attack Barca´s efforts. In both matches, the opponent scored, Barca did not. This is football and sometimes the ball does not want to go into the goal.


The Copa del Rey derby against Badalona tomorrow is not an easy one but an expected win will bring back Barca on the right track before the team face Recreativo at home in Camp Nou at the weekend.


We must have patience with this team. Barca already entertained me as a fan and spectator this season. The Super Cup against Espanyol was a delight, the Gamper match against Bayern Munich fantastic, Levski Sofia and Sevilla beaten with a great display and all the time the team showed convincing football. We can only be optimistic with this style of play and not critical. We just have to accept that we can´t take these performances for granted. This is football!


I have all faith into the players, the new signings and the technical staff. I have no doubt, the team can win it all. The season is very long and may be what might look as a disadvantage now turns into Barca´s favour later. The rotation is meant to pay off later, may be in the scond part of the season and I want to see a completely fired up Samuel Eto´o who was not able to play for such a long time. Sammy could be our Championship winner at the end of the seson. Rested, fresh and fired up to show the world that he is the best striker in the world.


The team will please us with memorable moments, I am sure. We should not give so much importance to the two upsets. The team needs us, the Barca supporters, exactly in these moments. I will definetely be there for them!
