The open fight between Barca´s French winger Ludovic Giuly and France international coach Raymond Domenech has gone into the next round. The pair have a problem with each other since Domenech did not call up the pacey Barca player for the world cup in Germany, despite Giuly playing an instrumental part in Barca´s win of the European Cup.


Domenech explained to the media:

The doors of the French team are not closed. He has to play, and talk less.

Barca star Giuly was quick to respond and critized the France coach:

His words mean shut up and play, but I am surprised by his biting words, because I have always showed respect toward him. He should understand that he made me miss a World Cup without telling me why. Since then I have been sick with worry because I don't know why. I am not a kid anymore. At 30, people can tell me things to the face. As long as I don't get any answers from him, I will go on opening my mouth. I have always done it and neither Raymond Domenech nor anyone else will prevent me from talking.
