The FC Barcelona players were delighted with the 2-1 win at Badalona. It was hard work but the ideal remedy following disappointments at Chelsea and Real Madrid. The Barca players were impressed by Badalona's efforts but there should be no doubt who will surely progress into the round of the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.

Carles Puyol:

It was a very difficult game, especially because the Badalona players got behind the ball well and put a lot of pressure on us in midfield. In the first half we found it hard to get used to the artificial surface, and the light. It was very dark. In the second half we were better. This was an important win after losing two games. The team worked hard for it. We have a lot of confidence in Gudjohnsen.

Javier Saviola:

I am very happy that the team won. Personally, I want to get to play more minutes, but more than anything else, be in the right shape for whenever the team needs me. The best thing that can happen to a team after losing is to get back to winning. I am sure this win will be a morale booster ahead of the next games. Badalona are a tough team. And, of course, they knew the pitch well. I was rotating positions with Gudjohnsen. We both worked hard to help the team. I want to get my chances and do everything I can while I am out on the pitch.

Albert Jorquera:

I am very happy for the collective victory. Truth is, I did not have much work to do. But my team mates did, because Badalona came out very strong. In the first half, Badalona had a couple of very dangerous chances. When I get the chance to play I always try to do the best I can and concentrate hard.
