Finally, the little mind games of Chelski coach Mourinho have started again. It was too quiet last time before the two teams clashed at Stamford Bridge, but probably just due to the severe head injuries of the two goalkeepers and a fatal car accident of one of Chelsea´s female employees. But now it seems Mo(th)rinho is back at it.

Mourinho claims that "the referees favour Barça" and that he " knows exactly, how many penalties Barca receive at home and how many times they have played a team reduced to 10 men". Typical, Mourinho did not want to comment on last weekend´s penalty rewarded to Barca against Recreativo (he probably did not see the situation anyway) but admitted that he was surprised by the "theatralic performance" of his former player Eidur Gudjohnsen, "a player that has spent almost his entire professional football life in England". When he was confronted again by the Spanish media, with his "theater" statement of last year, after Barca youngster Messi was consistently kicked by Spanish defender Asier Del Horno, Mourinho simply responded: "Theater? Ask Eidur!"

Mourinho does not expect that people will applaude him in the Camp Nou stadium (and nor do we!) but he feelt a less hostile atmosphere when he arrived at Barcelona Airport and hinted to last years incidents:

The last year I had to put my suit in the laundry, but this year nothing had happened so far. I had a walk from the hotel to the stadium and it was all very calm. I do not expect that people will applaud to me, but I do not care. I am only interested in what happens during the 90 minutes of the game.
