Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that young striker Salomon Kalou could be up for a starting place against FC Barcelona on Tuesday night. The Chelsea boss Mourinho believes that the 21-year-old Kalou has improved a lot since his arrival at Stamford Bridge and could take up one of the forward positions in the Champions League clash. Jose Mourinho stated:

Kalou is available and he is improving a lot. He is sometimes a bit naive in his actions but he is a kid with a lot of qualities and to play in Barcelona could be a big occasion for him.

Mourinho is not sure who will guard the goal against Barca tomorrow. Reserve goalkeeper Henrique Hilario played a good match against Sheffield United on Saturday but Chelsea´s No. 2, Carlo Cudicini, is fit and started training last Friday again. Mourinho commented on Chelsea´s goalkeeping situation:

I choose the one I think will work for us. Friday was Carlo's first time back at training back and he needs to improve but he is available for selection.
