Barca´s medical department have confirmed that Barca forward Eidur Gudjohnsen has injured his left ankle and will receive anti-inflammatory treatment. There was no damage to the ligaments and he might be fit to play against Deportivo La Coruna in the area. Gudjohnsen will undergo final tests on Thursday.
Gudjohnsen suffered from a knock after Ricardo Carvalho fouled the Icelnadic international during the 2-2 draw with Chelsea. Guddy had to be substituted and was replaced by Ludovic Giuly.
