Today Ronaldinho will be officially crowned FIFPro Player of the year 2006. Ronaldinho has been elected by 43,000 professional football players around the globe and has won the prestigious award for the second time in a row.
Ronaldinho, currently Barca´s leading goal scorer has won the title already in 2005.
Ronaldinho is very pleased witht he award and thanked in front of the media:
I am proud and it is an honour. I thank everyone who believed in me and my Barca teammates, because without them, I would not win such prizes. This is a motivation for me and I will try to improvewith every day.
