The 3-1 victory over Real Zaragoza and the recuperation of top spot in La Liga had been piad with a very high price. Barca youngster Lionel Messi, Brazilian international Edmílson and Argentinian international forward Javier Saviola have been injured during the game. These injuries only add to list that already includes Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti.
Also Thiago Motta received a red card and will not be able for selection, if Barca´s appeal will not be successful. That means that 6 players will not be able to play against RCD Mallorca next weekend.
Xavi Hernandez is hopeful to have recovered from his know by then.
