FC Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard was delighted with the team´s attitude and work rate after beating Werder Bremen 2-0 last night that saw Barca progressing to the Champions League knock out stages.
Frank Rijkaard:
I am very satisfied because we made the difference with the right mentality and desire. We started very well and took full advantage of our chances to make it 2-0 and that was very important. I thought Werder started very timidly, maybe because they were under a lot more pressure than us. We got the result and then had to hang on for a while, which happens to everyone in the Champions League, because all the teams are very good.
