Argentinean Coach Angel Cappa, who was Jorge Valdano´s right-hand man at CD Tenerife and Real Madrid believes that Boca Junior´s striker "La Joya" (The Jewel) Rodrigo Palacio would fit perfectly into the current Barca team. Barca´s style of play would suite "La Joya" (The Jewel) Palacio.
Angel Cappa spoke on radio station COM in Argentina:
Palacio has a quality that’s in decline: he’s a fantastic wing forward. Only in Holland and Barça do you still see wing forwards being used regularly. They’re a species in extinction. Palacio is a player who is both, devilishly fast and extremely skilful. He can both dribble and centre perfectly. He’s an old-fashioned player in that the flanks are where he thrives. Then again he’s also a fine marksman. He’s got a nose for making cutting diagonal runs to goal at just the right moment. Palacio is currently the best Argentinean forward of the new generation, only those who are four or five years older are better in some respects. He’s ready to make the transition to Europe as he’s 24 and is over the growth phase. As far as I’m concerned he’ll still develop but he’s got his own game defined and is ripe for the picking. Whoever will land him will thank their lucky stars.
