FC Barcelona Blog presents the exclusive interview of Barca´s Brazilian Champions League hero Juliano Belletti with Barca TV to be broadcast next Monday:

Barca TV: How was the build up to the game for the squad?

Belletti: "In truth, we were all pretty calm - it's something all the fans always want to know, but really, we were relaxed and then as the kick off got closer, you could sense the focus of the group".

Barca TV: What did you feel before the game?

Belletti: "When we kicked off I was confident, because I knew that the team were about to play a great game. Mind you, when we started the second half, with the result against us and with just 45 minutes to go to turn things round, well it was a bit different. When the boss told me to start warming up and that I was going on, I started to focus on what I had to do, You know, in football self-belief is all important and the most difficult to maintain. I always really knew we'd win and when I came on to play I was full of confidence".

Barca TV: How did you feel to go a goal down?

Belletti: "It was a bit like when we played Chelsea. We were playing with an extra man, but we were one goal down. In London we turned it round and I felt sure we were going to do the same in Paris, mainly because we were in complete control of the game".

Barca TV: Did Frank Rijkaard give you any special instructions when you came on ?

Belletti: "He told me what he always says - get forward and attack, maybe even more this time because we were behind. Since I stated playing under him, the boss has always encouraged me to attack and put in crosses. I also know that I have to defend, but in the final, the boss just asked me to get up front and pressure them. Really, when you've got someone who shows so much confidence in you, you just want to do your job as well as you can for him".

Barca TV: Talk us through the goal, can you remember what happened in the build up?

Belletti: "Of, course. I've seen it a few times on video you know! It was Larsson, a player who's always after the ball - I always look for him too, well, he controlled the ball and saw me sprinting down the wing. He passed it, I took it under control , the first thing I though of was shooting - there was no other choice".

Barca TV: What is it that's made Barca so good this season?

Belletti: "Above all the way we play as a team. Everyone helps everyone else. This has been happening for a couple of seasons now and since it began you can see how we've won the respect of other teams. We know we can get better though and we're going to!"

Barca TV: Do you think you yourself have improved?

Belletti: "Everyone knows my strong point is getting forward, but in two important games against Milan and Benfica, I put in good defensive performances too. The boss has told me personally that at crucial moments I've put in perfect defensive performances".

Barca TV: What did you say in your speech after the game?

Belletti: "I wanted to thank all the back room staff - the guys who never appear in the press, but who have to have a lot of experience to be with all 25 players and keep us all happy. They've made sure theres such a good atmosphere in the squad".

Barca TV: How do you see the future for the team?

Belletti: "People are used to seeing Barca win titles, which make the pressure that much greater. The other teams will also have even more desire to beat us too, but we know what we are capable of and we're going out to look for more titles".
