Txiki Begiristain declares a tough task is ahead of the Blaugrana in the Champions League.

After emerging in a fierce group alongside Olympique Lyon of France, Germany's VfB Stuttgart and Scottish club Rangers, FC Barcelona's sporting director, Txiki Begiristain has described that Group E in which Barcelona have been placed as one of the most difficult groups out of the eight groups that were cut out. Txiki feels that:

It's not going to be easy. We have been placed in one of the toughest groups. There are three strong teams: the champions of France and Germany, and one of the two great clubs of Scotland. The toughness of this group requires our 100% concentration. Every match will be taken seriously.

September will see Barca, the 2006/07 Champions League winners in full flight action. FC Barcelona last one the championship after coming back to stun Arsenal FC with two beautiful goals from Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belleti.
