FC Barcelona´s Samuel Eto'o returned to training on Monday and exercised for 45 minutes in an individual training session. Nearly 4 month after his cruciate ligament injury in the Champions League match against Werder in Bremen, Eto'o was back on duty but revealed that it will take a while until he will be back to train together with the squad. the Cameroon international Eto'o explained after his first training to the media:

I’m no saviour. That’s something you get a reputation for and I haven’t been in that situation. I can’t save a whole team because I have my area and try to just that as best as possible. What I do is, try to give my best all the time and I can count on the support of my team-mates and coach to ensure that we all do our best together. I’m not over-anxious to get back because I know the worst is behind me and that it’s all uphill from now, but I still feel strange when running and get that feeling something may be wrong, so I don’t want to force it. I’ll be back when I’m 100% - not before!
